the monday snapshot – Leah

Good morning everyone!

In usual Traathy style, I’ll get right to the point.

So here’s the thing.  If I go into the stats tracker it so awesomely tells me that the Monday Snapshot is our most popular post of the week.  We LOVE that we are able to feature different bloggers each week and give you a “snapshot” of their lives. We hope it allows you the opportunity to connect with bloggers whom you might never have come across before!  I know I’ve personally been introduced to a ton of *new* blogs via the blog hop.  So imagine my surprise tonight when I was doing up Leah’s post that I realized that we’ve only got 3 bloggers left on the list!!!!

What???!?!?! I said to myself.  How can that be?  We’ve got a bazillion people on the blogroll!!!

So here’s what you have to do (yes you!!!):  SIGN UP!!!

Was that discrete?  You know me well enough to know that discrete – I am not 😉  OR WAIT!! Perhaps you don’t!!  Ah ha, so yes, I too am signing myself up despite my aversion to pictures and disclosure of personal information.  OH YA I DID!

Your answers don’t have to be long, your picture doesn’t have to be of your little one.  It’s can be just a snapshot of *you* in anyway you like.  A part of your life that is caught on camera that week.

We’d like thank everyone who has participated in the Monday Snapshot this past year and we’ll be back on December 31st with a new snapshot!

Happy Holidays everyone from PAIL 🙂

Happy Monday!

Can you believe Christmas is just over a week away? I’m no where near ready but definitely looking forward to celebrating as a family of three.  This past week (really month) has been filled with lots of holiday events. From parties to dinners to play dates.  I feel like I’ve spent as much time planning my little one’s outfits as I have our meals this month! This snapshot is from a Christmas play date that I co-hosted last week. I love her sweet smile and the glisten in her eyes.  Avery was one of the youngest kids there and ended up sleeping through most of the party.  That’s what happens when she takes 20 minute naps all morning! When she woke up she spent her time watching all the kids play and snuggled in many arms.   It was a fun afternoon with sweet friends during the most wonderful time of the year!

Happy Holidays to all of you!

Now, get to know a little more about Leah with her answers to the Monday Snapshot “5 Questions”:

1) How long have you been blogging and how did you get started?

I first started blogging back in 2009 with a recipe blog. I wanted a place to share my favorite recipes and it also encouraged me to try out new ones. It them became a blog for all things creative. After I got married in 2010, I started my Everyday Love blog. I’ve always been a scrapbooker and figured it was the new and improved way of scrapbooking our lives. I blog about everything from loss to everyday things that make me happy.

2) Tell us a little about your ALI journey and your family (3-4 sentences):

One year of trying to conceive (without any results) and two consecutive miscarriages later, we are now soaking up every minute with our sweet baby girl.

3) What makes you unique in the blogging world? (e.g. special talent, rare diagnosis, life experience)?

I wouldn’t say this is unique but my goal is to always find the positive in any situation & make the best out of each day. That is what I share on my blog.

4) One word to describe yourself:

Determined

5) What blog or website (IF or not) would you recommend to others? Why?

In This Wonderful Life. Megan’s first child had a heart defect and dies a few days after he was born. I’ve been following her blog for a long time and no matter what she was going through, she continued to stay positive. She always talks about her son and does so much to make the best of heartbreaking experience. She is an inspirational woman and is now blessed with beautiful twins.
